Archers in Action: News & Events ~ February 4, 2026

One of our most cherished Founders traditions is just around the corner! On Thursday, February 19, we look forward to welcoming grandparents (and honorary grandparents) to campus for a special breakfast shared with their Archers — a morning rooted in connection, gratitude, and community.

⏰ Space is limited, and this event is filling quickly. We kindly ask families to RSVP as soon as possible to ensure grandparents can be accommodated.

Events like this — the ones our students and grandparents treasure year after year — are only possible because our community comes together to serve. We are currently seeking approved volunteers to help with event preparation on Wednesday, February 18, as well as set-up, hospitality, and clean-up on the morning of the breakfast.

Whether assisting with check-in, preparing and serving food, supporting classroom transitions, or helping with clean-up, every role helps create a welcoming and well-organized experience for our guests.

Grandparents Breakfast Volunteers

Thank you for giving your time and talents to support a tradition that reflects the very heart of Founders — hospitality, service, and a community that aims high together. 🏹

Each month, one or two grade/house level(s) “Stocks the Lounge”—filling our teacher lounge with grab-and-go snacks and drinks to keep our teachers fueled and feeling appreciated all year long. February is 4th grade and the House of Newton's month to serve!

This is more than just treats. It’s a simple, meaningful way to say thank you to the teachers who pour their hearts into our children every single day.

Every $10 in donations = 1 Archer Hour, so your gift not only blesses our teachers but also counts toward your family’s volunteer hours.

Let’s surround our teachers with the same care and encouragement they show our kids—help us fill the lounge and remind them how much they mean to the Founders family! All donations can be dropped off in B1 or B3 offices during the month.

The Fine Arts Booster Club is delighted to invite Founders families to mark their calendars for our annual Family Dance, happening Friday, February 20 from 7–9 PM.

This year’s dance committee is hard at work planning an enchanted evening inspired by the whimsical world of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland—where imagination reigns, curiosity leads the way, and a little bit of delightful madness is encouraged. Think wonder, movement, music, and moments that feel as though you’ve stepped through the looking glass.

For now, we invite you to save the date! More details will be coming soon… and you won’t want to be late for this very important date. 🎩✨

2025–2026 Tutoring Now Available

We are pleased to share the 2025–2026 tutoring opportunities! Skilled teachers are available to support students in a wide range of subjects. Recommended rates are $40–50 per hour, with advanced subjects ranging from $70–100 per hour. Please note that tutoring cannot take place on campus; families should arrange alternate meeting locations directly with the tutor. Click below for more information:
