Archers in Action: News & Events ~ January 21, 2026

Founders Classical Academy of Leander and the Archers Support Committee is excited to host grandparents (and honorary grandparents) for breakfast with their grandchildren! This event is open to K-12 Founders students attending with their grandparents. Seating is limited, so we kindly ask that parents allow this to be a special event for grandparents and their grandchildren. 

Details as follows:

Date: Thursday February 19, 2026

Time: 7:30am - 8:30am, optional Open House until 9:45am

Location: Founders Classical Academy, Building 1 Gym

Address: 1303 Leander Dr., Leander

*Photo ID is required for check-in. 

Event description:

Grandparents are invited to arrive at 7:15am, followed by students at 7:30am. Parking will be available adjacent to buildings 1 and 2. A light breakfast of fruit, pastries, yogurt and coffee will be served. Students will be dismissed to class at 7:55am.  Grandparents are invited to stay for a brief presentation and Q&A with the headmaster until 8:30am, followed by an optional Open House until 9:45am where grandparents will have the opportunity to visit and observe classrooms.

Each month, one or two grade/house level(s) “Stocks the Lounge”—filling our teacher lounge with grab-and-go snacks and drinks to keep our teachers fueled and feeling appreciated all year long. January is 3rd grade and the House of Herodotus's month to serve!

This is more than just treats. It’s a simple, meaningful way to say thank you to the teachers who pour their hearts into our children every single day.

Every $10 in donations = 1 Archer Hour, so your gift not only blesses our teachers but also counts toward your family’s volunteer hours.

Let’s surround our teachers with the same care and encouragement they show our kids—help us fill the lounge and remind them how much they mean to the Founders family! All donations can be dropped off in B1 or B3 offices during the month.

The Fine Arts Booster Club is delighted to invite Founders families to mark their calendars for our annual Family Dance, happening Friday, February 20 from 7–9 PM.

This year’s dance committee is hard at work planning an enchanted evening inspired by the whimsical world of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland—where imagination reigns, curiosity leads the way, and a little bit of delightful madness is encouraged. Think wonder, movement, music, and moments that feel as though you’ve stepped through the looking glass.

For now, we invite you to save the date! More details will be coming soon… and you won’t want to be late for this very important date. 🎩✨

Re-Enrollment for all current families will open on January 12, 2026 in Skyward and close on February 6, 2026. 

Log in to Skyward Family Access and look for the Re-Enrollment 2026-2027 tile. Select the icon to begin. You will then be able to view the information we have in our student information database about your child. Please validate, correct, and update all information fields. 

All current students must complete re-enrollment to reserve their space for next year.

Student-Led tutoring is now available during study hall but a sign up is required.

2025–2026 Tutoring Now Available

We are pleased to share the 2025–2026 tutoring opportunities! Skilled teachers are available to support students in a wide range of subjects. Recommended rates are $40–50 per hour, with advanced subjects ranging from $70–100 per hour. Please note that tutoring cannot take place on campus; families should arrange alternate meeting locations directly with the tutor. Click below for more information:
