⭐Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, April 27–May 1

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is underway, and we enjoy honoring the men and women who serve our Archers with excellence each day.

We invite families to review the celebration schedule and begin making plans for how you would like to show your appreciation. A thoughtful note, a small gesture, or a shared expression of gratitude can make a lasting impact.

⭐ Archers Council Elections & General Meeting | April 30

We invite all 2025–26 Archers Council members to join us for our Annual Elections & General Meeting on Thursday, April 30 at 8:15 AM in the B3 Library.

This meaningful gathering will include:

-Highlights from our committees and a look ahead

-A celebration of our Funds for Founders success and how those funds are being reinvested to strengthen FCA

-The election of incoming officers for the 2026–27 school year

-An open Q&A with Ms. Loy

-Time to connect with fellow engaged Founders parents

Your voice and your vote help shape the leadership and direction of the Archers Council. We also encourage you to invite other families to join the Council so they, too, can participate and have a voice in the year ahead.

Mark your calendar and join us as we continue building a strong and engaged Founders community — together.

⭐JR/SR High School Prom ~ A Moment in Time

We are excited to announce this year’s JR/SR High School Prom!

Date: May 2nd

Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Location: Avery Ranch Country Club

Ticket Prices:

$65 per individual

$120 per couple

Tickets are now on sale in B3 Office until May 1st. Before or after school and during lunch. Cash or Venmo. Tickets will be available at the door for $75 per person.

⭐May: All Grade Levels Stocks the Lounge!

For the month of May, we are opening Stock the Lounge to all grade levels as we finish the year strong and bless our teachers and staff in a meaningful way.

This is more than just treats. It’s a simple, meaningful way to say thank you to the teachers who pour their hearts into our children every single day.

Every $10 in donations = 1 Archer Hour, so your gift not only blesses our teachers but also counts toward your family’s volunteer hours.

Let’s surround our teachers with the same care and encouragement they show our kids—help us fill the lounge and remind them how much they mean to the Founders family! All donations can be dropped off in B1 or B3 offices during the month.

How to participate:

*New Attendance Reporting Procedures

Reporting an absence and other attendance related issues just got easier. You can now report early dismissal for athletics, early dismissals for student drivers, make alternate arrangements for student pickup, and report absences, all through our new online forms found here.

When the need arises, go to our school website at foundersleander.com. Navigate to one of three places - the Archers in Action page, Attendance page, or For Our Families tab to find a “Report an Absence” button. Simply click that button, find and complete the appropriate form for your situation and upload documents and correspondence directly to that form. Done! It’s that easy.

*Uniform Closet Donation Guidelines

The following school uniform items will be accepted as donations to our uniform closet:

Items with the school logo (including polos, jackets, spirit wear);
Plaid Wednesday formal skirts;
White Oxford shirts;
Girls jumpers;
Uniform ties and bows;
Belts

All items must be in good condition (clean, not stained or faded)

*Apply to be a 2025-2026 Volunteer!

Volunteers must be approved each school year to be on campus.

Each school year, ResponsiveEd requires every volunteer to complete an online volunteer application and undergo a background check. Once you are approved, you must review the guidelines for Founders Archer Volunteers and sign a confidentiality agreement. Applications remain active for the current school year. A volunteer must reapply each school year regardless of their date of application. Please allow up to two weeks for processing of your application.
