^➹Reminders about carline: TURN RIGHT after approaching from the NORTH. Emergency personnel and clients who need to access our neighbors’ businesses need to be able to get by, so we can’t block both lanes of traffic. Additionally, the car line is faster for everyone when we follow the pattern.

DO NOT park along Leander Drive. Again, we are trying to be respectful of our neighbors, and your students are not allowed to cross the car line to get into cars. This is a safety issue.

When the single lane divides by Sherwood Forest, parents who are only picking up students in front of Buildings One and Two should get in the LEFT lane.

After you have picked up your student, pull forward until the end of the lane to MERGE. When you brake and wait to merge into the outside lane, you hold up the whole car line.

Do not go around cars in front of you–this is dangerous.

Pull all the way forward so there are no spaces between you and the car in front of you before you stop to let your student in the car. They will follow you along the sidewalk if you have to pull past them.

Only student drivers can pick up their siblings. Non-student drivers cannot. Please do not give the Upper sibling the car tag and ask them to pick them up and wait with them.

Please do not hold your cell phone in the car line.

K–12 Spirit Friday | September 25

Friday is for ALL Archers! K–5th grade students may wear a Founders spirit shirt with their regular uniform bottoms and join in the Homecoming fun.

K–5th grade students can also purchase a Homecoming ribbon for $3 on campus during Spirit Week and wear it proudly on Friday! 🎀

Our athletes will be selling Grammar Homecoming ribbons during carline on the following dates:

September 25: AM driveline

Ribbons are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to sell out, so be sure to grab yours while supplies last!

⭐Trunk or Treat is Coming! (Click arrow to expand)

Trunk or Treat returns Friday, October 16 from 5:00–7:00 PM in the Founders parking lot!

Grammar families, keep an eye on your inbox! Room parents will be reaching out soon with your class’s curriculum-inspired trunk theme and ways you can help with decorations, games, supplies and volunteering.

Here’s what everyone needs to know:

🍬 Candy Donations: Help us fill the trunks! Please donate one large bag of candy per family to the Grammar Office October 12–15. Candy will be pooled and distributed among all trunks.

🎃 Character Pumpkin Contest: Open to students K–12! Decorate a medium-sized pumpkin as a character from the Founders curriculum using paint, fabric, craft supplies and plenty of creativity. No carving, cutting or puncturing. Bring your pumpkin and completed submission form to Trunk or Treat for judging. Teachers will select 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from each grade, announced at 6:45 PM.

🌭 Come Hungry: Topp Dawg will be back serving hot dogs, lemonade and other snacks for purchase.

👻 Come Have Fun: Costumes are encouraged, admission is free, and friends and neighbors are welcome!

Muffins in the Morning is getting a new name and a new way to grab your morning treat!

Due to new regulations, students can no longer purchase breakfast items directly from SEC. All purchases must be made by a parent.

The process may be changing, but the purpose isn’t. Every purchase still supports the special events and traditions celebrating our senior class.

The first club meetings will be Wednesday, September 16th, and the deadline to register for this semester is Wednesday, September 30th. Registration is required prior to participation.

During the registration process, there are additional details provided for each club (meeting location, preferred method of communication). The club leader will email everyone to confirm details prior to the first meeting. If you have specific questions about the club prior to registration, please contact the club leader in advance.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Sharks Burger earlier this month! Because our Founders families showed up, we raised more than $400 for the Senior Events Committee to help support the special events and traditions that celebrate our senior class.

While that is a long way from what SEC once raised through Pizza Fridays, we believe every dollar makes a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support as we find new ways to fund these important senior traditions.

And we’re ready to do it again! Mark your calendars for our next SEC Spirit Night on Tuesday, October 20 from 3:00–9:00 PM. Mention Founders when ordering, and 20% of all Founders orders will be donated back to SEC!

Each month, one grade level “Stocks the Lounge”—filling our teacher lounge with grab-and-go snacks and drinks to keep our teachers fueled and feeling appreciated all year long. September is Kindergarten’s month to serve!

This is more than just treats. It’s a simple, meaningful way to say thank you to the teachers who pour their hearts into our children every single day.

Every $10 in donations = 1 Archer Hour, so your gift not only blesses our teachers but also counts toward your family’s volunteer hours.

Let’s surround our teachers with the same care and encouragement they show our kids—help us fill the lounge and remind them how much they mean to the Founders family!
