In honor of those who serve and have served, we invite all members of the Founders Family who are active duty or veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces to join us for this special opportunity to give thanks for their service to our nation. Veterans will be recognized during the ceremony on Tuesday, November 11 at 8:00 AM.

To include a Founders family veteran, please reply by Monday, November 10 using this form.

Use this form to: (Complete one form per veteran)

1) Register a Founders family veteran who will attend and be recognized along with others; 

2) Register a Founders family veteran who will not attend but be recognized in an Honor Roll.

More details about the event, including arrival, parking, and other information, will be emailed to the address provided on the registration form. Check-In: Please arrive by 7:45 AM to allow time to check-in at one of the school offices and to avoid the rush of carline. A picture ID is required at check-in.

Please join Dr. Kathleen Helal to discuss one of the classics in our curriculum, Leo Tolstoy’s The Death of Ivan Ilyich, a story about a man who seems to achieve success but is destroyed by his own vices. Dr. Helal will offer some context for the novella and lead us through some close reading of key passages, and together we will consider why Tolstoy writes: “Ivan Ilyich’s life had been most simple and commonplace—and most horrifying” (43). 

Dr. Helal has taught university literature courses for over twenty years and now works at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin, where she focuses on writing, presenting, and publishing scholarly work internationally. She joined the Founders faculty when her schedule allowed it from 2023-2024, and admires the administration, faculty, staff, and parents for their outstanding dedication to the school and commitment to virtue.

💙November: 2nd Grade & House of DaVinci's Stocks the Lounge!

Each month, one grade level “Stocks the Lounge”—filling our teacher lounge with grab-and-go snacks and drinks to keep our teachers fueled and feeling appreciated all year long. November is 2nd Grade and House of DaVinci’s month to serve!

This is more than just treats. It’s a simple, meaningful way to say thank you to the teachers who pour their hearts into our children every single day.

Every $10 in donations = 1 Archer Hour, so your gift not only blesses our teachers but also counts toward your family’s volunteer hours.

Let’s surround our teachers with the same care and encouragement they show our kids—help us fill the lounge and remind them how much they mean to the Founders family! All donations can be dropped off in B1 or B3 offices.

We are pleased to share the 2025–2026 tutoring opportunities! Skilled teachers are available to support students in a wide range of subjects. Recommended rates are $40–50 per hour, with advanced subjects ranging from $70–100 per hour. Please note that tutoring cannot take place on campus; families should arrange alternate meeting locations directly with the tutor. Click below for more information:
