Visual Arts

At Founders, we teach the Core Knowledge Art and Art History curriculum to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students study elements of art, various mediums, time periods, and art from around the world. Our students then recreate their own pieces. Art is displayed twice a year at our fall and spring showcases.

Beginning in 6th grade, students choose to emphasize either in Orchestra or Studio Art as part of their fine arts studies. All students through 8th grade learn both visual and musical arts. High school students have the choice to take Studio Art for their fine arts elective.
