Athletics
Athletic Director -
Founders offers a variety of sports for male and female student athletes in 6th-12th grade. We also offer non-competitive sports through our extracurricular clubs. For high school sports, we participate in the Honor Charter Athletic League (HCAL). For middle school sports, we participate in TCSAAL and TAIAO, a state-wide academic and athletic league for charter schools. Information regarding their programs may be on the leagues' websites. Our student athletes are required to complete an annual physical prior to trying out for a sport. We also require each student athlete and their parent/guardian to read and sign the Athletic Code of Conduct which can be found in our FCA Family Handbook. If you are interested in participating in one of the following sports, please email the Athletic Department.

Physicals and Participation Forms
Before a student can participate in Founders Classical Academy’s after-school athletics program, the student must undergo a physical exam with a licensed physician, and his or her family must complete several sports participation forms. Physicals must be passed once every calendar year, whereas sports participation forms must be completed each school year.
If you are the parent of a student in 5th-12th grade who intends to compete in athletics, please schedule your student's physical during the summer. The required athletics forms are available to athletes through SportsYou. You may also click here to download the sports physical form.
All student athletes are required to read and comply with the Archers Athletic Code of Conduct while participating in their respective sport(s). You may find the Code of Conduct here.
Additionally, students are required to read and sign the following Responsive Education Solutions (RES) forms 2024-2025: Intent to Participate - Activity Waiver, Athletic Student Handbook, and the Athletic Packet.
